I’m not even going to pretend – I freaking love the Party in the FIP boys. So much so that I went on an info hunt, only to discover the following:

Sadly, one of the boys recently battled cancer. But he kept everyone updated via Twitter and in turn, his friends made a hilariously sweet video:

I began listing my favorite scenes of the video, only to discover they were all centered around the dude with the fro (0:19, 1:22, 2:28, 2:45).

And so, autumn turns to winter:

Running a fever and stepping out into the cold Chicago wind is actually a strong combination.
The secret to successfully crossing the street is to stick yourself behind someone bigger (hello, easy) or a couple and follow them. Point A, Point B.
Train conductors who say “God bless” and “Have a great day at school” or “Watch your step” deserve a hot pot of coffee on the hour, every hour.
They also should stop saying “Red line on the outside, brown line on the outside” because every time they do, I immediately think of this song and seriously, my brain cannot handle gangster rap first thing in the morning.
I’m thinking of starting a box again.

It will take me 10 minutes just to bundle up before stepping foot outdoors.
Women in Chicago (or the Midwest) need to learn basic manners. I am shocked at the sense of entitlement and rudeness in this city. Austin, I miss your politeness and sweet Southern charm every day.
I am actually beginning to cook well, having discovered the potent flavoring capabilities of herbs.
Today I bought boots that are 23% of my height.
My sense of direction is improving so much that I recognize street names and immediately realize I am going the wrong direction.

I had writer’s block all day and now apparently all night:

I refuse to watch Glee. Won’t do it.
Bell peppers (be it red, yellow, or orange) make for a delicious snack.
This winter, I will somehow misplace my wallet by accidentally shoving it in my coat pocket instead of putting it right back in my purse.
Whoever trimmed my hair upon 2 months ago did an amazing job.
I cannot wait for October to be over. Just…over.

Also, this song is overplayed but lovely.
